Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a data scientist to join the Guest & Host Data Science team. You will build models, measurement frameworks, and data products to improve marketplace outcomes and product experiences for hosts and guests.

You\'ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering, write Python/SQL/R, and apply causal inference methods to quantify impact of pricing guidance and new features. Remote eligible within the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with BS/masters in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience with PhD.
• Experience with experimentation and causal observational analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build data-driven models, measurement frameworks, and data products to improve Airbnb marketplace and product.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to enable data-driven model or product development.
• Write software in SQL, Python or R to model, simulate, and measure the impact of new features.
