Job summary

Oura is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to partner with the Member Experience team. This remote, full-time role focuses on building analytics, models, and data systems that improve support quality, predict demand, and link interactions to lifecycle outcomes across channels.

You will work across MX analytics, operations, and business systems to turn outputs into actionable actions, deliver dashboards, and drive data-driven decisions for customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data science or analytics, owning end-to-end business problems.
• Strong SQL and Python, with production-quality models and measurement systems.
• Experience with NLP/LLM models and evaluation workflows.
• Experience with forecasting and time series for operational planning.
• Data engineering experience unifying data across systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Databricks, AWS, Snowflake or similar.
• Excellent communication with non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a quality scoring classifier for support interactions using NLP/LLM approaches.
• Design new support analytics beyond volume and satisfaction metrics.
• Enhance forecasting models for support volume, capacity, and staffing.
• Link support interactions to member identities and lifecycle data for analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate needs into scalable data solutions.
• Create dashboards and decision-support tools to track operations and outcomes.
• Transform fragmented data into trusted insights for strategic decisions.
