Job summary

RevenueCat is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own RC Capital's data science strategy, focusing on underwriting, fraud detection, and lead qualification. You will build production-ready models using real-time revenue data, partner with Product and Engineering to embed risk signals in customer flows, and shape new fintech products with a strong ownership mindset.

You will work in a remote-first, global team, collaborating across functions to scale daily payouts and related financial products

Qualifications

5+ years of data science experience, fintech focus preferred.
Deep expertise in fraud and/or underwriting, risk–growth balance.
Analytical and technical with production deployment experience in SQL/Python.
Understanding of mobile apps or developer ecosystems a plus.
Owner mindset, ability to work in ambiguity and drive impact.

Responsibilities

Own the Data Science strategy for RC Capital and underwriting/fraud systems.
Develop sophisticated models for lead qualification, anomaly detection, and credit underwriting.
Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate risk signals into flows and decision engines.
Analyze cross-platform revenue data to improve underwriting models and product design.
Build mechanisms to measure impact, model performance, and prioritize data initiatives.
Operate with ownership in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment to shape the long-term vision.
