Job summary

Genex Service LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and buildout of data infrastructure powering analytics. You will work with Snowflake and dbt to integrate data from multiple sources and set architectural direction for scalable pipelines.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to identify high-value data opportunities, enforcing standards, and mentoring team members as the department grows. Strong SQL, Python, and cloud experience required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building data infrastructure and pipelines in production.
• Expert SQL skills including performance tuning and window functions.
• Python for data pipelines and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and buildout of data infrastructure powering analytics.
• Define patterns and standards for data pipelines in Snowflake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize data integration opportunities.
• Enforce engineering standards via reviews and documentation.
• Provide mentorship and lead growing data team members.
• Prototype MVPs and secure buy-in for larger initiatives.
