Job summary

Headway Tek Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines in Snowflake, DataStage and dbt on AWS. You will own ELT/ETL processes, implement data warehouse models, and ensure performance and data quality across cloud-based platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL skills, and experience with Data Vault modeling. This is a remote role with W2 only.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing.
• Strong SQL skills and performance tuning for large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake development and DataStage ETL workflows.
• Experience with dbt and ELT pipelines on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using DataStage, Snowflake, and dbt.
• Build and optimize cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
• Develop complex SQL queries and data transformations.
• Implement data warehouse and Data Vault modeling solutions.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business data requirements.
