Job summary

UST Global Inc is looking for a remote Senior Data Platform Engineer to drive the architectural design and execution strategy for merging Databricks and Snowflake platforms. You will consolidate data catalogs, align governance, and unify security models across the organization, with emphasis on IAM, access controls, and cloud-resource optimization.

The role requires 4-6 years in data platform engineering/architecture, plus strong Terraform and AWS experience, and Python/SQL development

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Data Platform Engineering or Data Architecture.
• Experience managing AWS ecosystems, including S3, IAM, and VPC.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
• Development skills in Python and SQL, with experience in code auditing and refactoring.
• Experience with data platform migrations and cloud account consolidations is preferred.
