Job summary

UST is seeking a Data Platform Engineer for Merger & Migration to join our remote-US team. Bring 8+ years in data engineering or cloud operations, with hands-on AWS (S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda) and experience with Databricks or Snowflake to execute cross-tenant data migrations and modernize our data platform.

You will update pipelines, adjust storage paths and endpoints, spin up unified workspaces and warehouses with Terraform, and map permissions into a centralized governance model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Operations, or Cloud Operations.
• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake is required.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; familiarity with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data assets, schemas, and notebooks from source to target tenant.
• Update pipelines, storage paths, API endpoints, and connection strings to the unified architecture.
• Set up unified workspaces, clusters, and warehouses using Terraform.
• Map user groups, access permissions, and roles to a centralized governance model.
• Run data validation tests and monitor migration logs to prevent data loss or downtime.
