You will own the architecture end to end, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP Moderate, NIST 800‑171, and CUI standards. Candidates should have 8+ years in data engineering and experience building data platforms from scratch.

The target salary range is $146,000 - $234,000, dependent on various factors including experience and responsibilities, along with potential bonuses and other compensation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering / data platform engineering.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain T5/SSBI clearance.
• Experience building a data platform from scratch.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on cloud experience with a major provider.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the data platform from scratch.
• Codify the platform as infrastructure as code.
• Establish data governance and cataloging.
• Build the ingestion, transformation, and pipeline layer.
• Partner with cloud engineering across boundaries.
