Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Technology Architect to lead HPC and AI-ready cloud platform design for federal mission operations. You will influence senior government stakeholders and drive modernization, AI enablement, and secure cloud transformations at scale.

Responsibilities include guiding strategy, accelerating deployments, and ensuring FedRAMP/NIST-aligned solutions while collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver mission-critical workloads.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required.
Active Public Trust or ability to obtain.
10+ years in cloud architecture, infrastructure, or technology consulting with federal/public sector exposure.
Proven ability to brief and advise C-suite or senior government executives on tech strategy and transformation.
Experience driving AI/ML adoption in enterprise or government cloud environments.
Background in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience coordinating across multi‑disciplinary teams in complex organizations.
One of the following AWS certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.

Responsibilities

Lead the adoption and implementation of HPC and AI-ready cloud platforms to accelerate geospatial, scientific, and environmental modeling workflows.
Serve as Innovation Lead driving AI/ML tools and services for federal delivery.
Remove organizational barriers to enable AI/ML pilot workloads at scale in federal clouds.
Brief and advise senior government leadership on technology strategy and roadmaps.
Reduce cloud deployment timelines through automation and process innovation.
Architect and deliver cloud infrastructure solutions aligned to FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST.
