Job summary

eRay Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support large-scale data migration, ETL modernization, and data platform transformation initiatives. You will analyze legacy data environments, map data lineage, optimize SQL workloads, and drive migrations across SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, and Snowflake.

Remote work is available with a preference for candidates who can work onsite in Omaha, Nebraska.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience with SSIS and SQL Server Integration Services.
• Proven track record in data migration and ETL modernization.
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience with cross-platform migrations (SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows and data integrations.
• Develop and support SSIS packages and SQL Agent jobs.
• Analyze complex SQL queries and tune database workloads.
• Perform data lineage analysis and dependency mapping.
• Support migration from legacy platforms to modern cloud analytics environments.
• Create migration artifacts and technical documentation.
