Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Senior Data Informatics Business Partner to bridge clinical practice, operations, and enterprise data. You will translate needs into data and analytics requests while guiding governance, privacy, and responsible AI considerations across complex use cases.

You will develop intake artifacts, align stakeholders, and ensure adoption and trust across multiple domains while working remotely within the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience with data, analytics, AI, governance, or digital delivery teams in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Translate domain needs into structured data, analytics, or digital requests beyond traditional requirements gathering.
• Experience across multiple data-producing systems and understanding data movement across workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata, privacy, and responsible AI concepts.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to guide stakeholders to outcomes.
• Independent work in ambiguous, high-impact environments; advise on trade-offs.
• Background in clinical informatics, intake/translation roles supporting data initiatives.
• Influence intake, governance, or activation practices beyond individual requests.
• Experience with end-to-end data movement across complex systems.
• Experience designing measurement/evaluation frameworks for outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide informatics context for data access, integration, and interoperability needs beyond technical specs.
• Analyze clinical and operational workflows to understand data generation and use across systems.
• Serve as senior engagement point, guiding stakeholders toward outcome-focused requests.
• Advise on data governance, privacy, and responsible AI across use cases.
• Shape intake artifacts with outcomes, success measures, assumptions, and adoption considerations.
• Liaise between business domains and Enterprise Data & Analytics delivery teams.
• Guide definitions and evaluation approaches for data/analytics initiatives.
• Ensure adoption and trust considerations are attached to intake and translation efforts.
• Identify recurring intake patterns and propose governance/refinement recommendations.
