Job summary

Optum Health Financial Tech seeks a strategic tech leader to drive E&I HEDIS retrospective ops and maintenance for a cloud migration program. You will guide a team of data engineers and SMEs, delivering scalable pipelines and AI-enabled workflows to support regulatory requirements.

You will partner with business leaders and auditors to mitigate risk, ensure data quality, and meet strict SLAs, while advancing responsible AI practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in health insurance with HEDIS concepts, measure engines, data domains across Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial.
• 5+ years with on-premise or cloud-based SQL databases in business, research, or consulting.
• 2+ years leading a team of engineers/SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud-based data engineering solutions and AI implementations.
• Mentor 6+ data engineers/SMEs and ensure production-ready pipelines with SLAs.
• Collaborate with business partners and auditors to meet regulatory reporting requirements.
