Job summary

Unite Us, a nationwide health and social care network, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and scale data infrastructure supporting clients and internal teams. You will partner with Application Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional groups to deliver ETL pipelines and data warehouse integrations.

You will champion data quality, governance, and accessibility, participate in on-call rotations, and help onboard customers to data products across the nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines in production.
• Expertise with Snowflake, DBT, and modern data tooling.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; familiarity with cloud platforms.
• Experience with data governance and compliance in healthcare/social determinants space.

Responsibilities

• Design / implement a data architecture and infrastructure aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers, Product Managers, and Solutions Architects to ensure data systems support client requirements.
• Develop, create, and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines for loading data into the data warehouse.
• Test, monitor, and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collect and validate high-quality data.
• Ensure data integrity and governance standards.
• Champion data democratization and enable access to well-documented data for stakeholders.
• Guide teams on data engineering best practices.
