Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Technical Guidance Lead to provide senior cybersecurity guidance to a federal program. This remote role requires translating NIST, OMB, and other federal requirements into actionable guidance and recommendations for government and contractor stakeholders.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, review security designs, and lead major guidance assignments while interfacing with senior management and system owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, information assurance/security, or related area.
• CISSP or equivalent senior certification.
• Experience leading major cybersecurity or technology programs.
• Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; Secret clearance preferred; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for non-assessment cybersecurity guidance across programs.
• Translate NIST/OMB and federal requirements into actionable guidance and recommendations.
• Review approaches and designs for alignment with security requirements and mission needs.
• Plan and lead major guidance assignments, coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Advise government leadership and prepare technical briefings and decision-support materials.
• Maintain alignment across system owners, ISSOs/ISSMs, engineers, and operations teams.
• Monitor federal requirements and technology practices, recommending updates as needed.
