Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions is seeking an Oversight and Governance Lead to support a federal client. This remote role leads governance, assessment, and quality activities across multiple control domains, coordinating with Government and contractor stakeholders.

The position requires 5–10 years in cybersecurity/governance, active or preferred clearance, and strong writing/briefing skills. Remote work supports flexible scheduling and project-based workload.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of cybersecurity, information assurance, governance, assessment/authorization, audit/compliance, or quality-assurance experience.
• CISSP or equivalent certification.
• Experience leading major cybersecurity assignments across multiple activities.
• Knowledge of NIST controls, RMF/A&A, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and security operations.
• Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact cybersecurity governance, assessment, audit, and quality activities.
• Coordinate data calls, evidence, system info, testing access, interviews, walkthroughs, and control assessments.
• Drive remediation of findings, validate documentation, and close gaps.
• Lead support for IV&V, QA, LMM compliance, process reviews, and government surveillance.
• Maintain traceability of configuration items, baselines, and builds; track evidence and deadlines.
• Respond to external inquiries and audits involving Congress, GAO, OMB, OIG, and other entities.
• Develop and maintain Government-approved Quality Control Plan and continuous improvement.
• Ensure inspections and COR/CO oversight and conforming services/deliverables.
