Sprezzatura is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead security delivery and drive automation and AI enhancements across RMF, NIST, and A&A activities. This senior role demands deep federal cybersecurity expertise and hands-on implementation across multiple teams.

You will collaborate with program leadership and COEs to improve compliance, standardize processes, and strengthen predictability of cybersecurity outcomes. Remote within the U.S. with flexible work arrangements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• CISSP or comparable industry-recognized cybersecurity credential.
• 10+ years of experience leading diverse technical or cybersecurity teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide senior‑level technical and delivery guidance across cybersecurity teams and workstreams.
• Support RMF implementation, A&A activities, security control reviews, POA&M management, system authorization, and related security activities.
• Identify gaps and develop strategies to improve quality, consistency, efficiency, and audit readiness.
• Lead development of reusable AI prompts, automation templates, and standardized approaches for recurring security activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness of cybersecurity deliverables.
