Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst for a US remote role within the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. You will own enterprise cyber risk assessment work, translating technical risk into business terms for leadership to decide on acceptance, mitigation, or remediation.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise in networking, cloud, endpoint, identity, and access planning, with a focus on aligning risk with enterprise appetite and regulatory requirements. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or 4 years with a Master’s.
• Current Security+ or equivalent certification.
• U.S. Citizenship required and U.S. Remote-Telework eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments across the enterprise, identifying risk to confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data.
• Articulate cyber risk to business and technical leadership in clear, decision-ready terms.
• Lead cyber risk reviews across third-party risk, risk acceptance, and software risk, and track AI development as it relates to cyber risk.
• Collaborate with Compliance to ensure coherent risk treatment across frameworks.
• Evaluate cyber risk implications of technology decisions in networking, cloud, endpoint, and identity architectures.
• Communicate residual risk and required mitigation to stakeholders and leaders.
