Amentum is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst for a US remote senior individual contributor role within the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. You will own the enterprise's cyber risk assessment work, framing risk in business terms to support informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience or 4+ years with a Master's degree.
• Experience in enterprise risk management and third-party cyber risk assessment.
• Current Security+ or an equivalent industry certification; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments across the enterprise, identifying risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Articulate cyber risk to business and technical leadership in clear, decision-ready terms against risk appetite.
• Lead cyber risk reviews across third-party, temporary risk acceptance, and software risk areas.
• Coordinate with Compliance to ensure risk coverage across frameworks and proper risk treatment.
• Evaluate cyber risk implications of technology decisions in networking, cloud, endpoint, and IAM.
• Flag residual risk exceeding appetite and specify required risk reductions.
• Contribute to scoping and architecture decisions with residual risk considerations.
• Improve GR&C processes: methodology, intake, evidence handling, and risk judgment consistency.
• Maintain current knowledge of cyber risk, threats, tech, and regulations; travel up to 25%.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
