Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Cost Segregation Senior Associate to join our National Tax practice. The role leads multiple cost segregation studies for real estate clients, analyzes construction costs, and drafts detailed client reports.

This remote/onsite role requires travel 10–20% and the ability to supervise and mentor staff in a fast-paced team environment. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in engineering, architecture, or construction management with 2–3 years of cost segregation experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of cost segregation experience.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of general tax depreciation rules preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with multiple cost segregation studies and reports.
• Estimate construction costs, review blueprints, and inspect facilities.
• Travel 10–20% for client work and site visits.
• Supervise, train, mentor and guide staff.
