Coinbase is seeking an Assistant Controller, Global GL Operations to lead the accounting team responsible for the end-to-end close across our global entity structure. You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Source-to-Pay to ensure accurate consolidated and statutory reporting.

Qualificações

• Requires CPA and 13+ years accounting experience, mix of Big 4 and fintech/SaaS.
• Proven leadership of 4+ years supervising multiple workstreams.
• Deep US GAAP and SOX knowledge; close processes.
• Track record of improving close efficiency and accuracy.
• Experience with NetSuite, SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel.
• Responsible use of AI with human oversight for outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes across global entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Source-to-Pay for accurate reporting and intercompany resolution.
• Drive improvements to accounting systems, processes, and internal controls; lead financial infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review global consolidated audit deliverables and international subsidiary statutory statements.
• Build and develop a high-performing accounting team and mentor junior staff.
• Support board and senior management with monthly reports and ad hoc analyses.
