Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Accounting Manager, GL Operations & Intercompany, to lead global close processes and oversee the intercompany framework. You will ensure accurate consolidated reporting and scalable financial infrastructure across entities.

You will partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Finance Data to implement new intercompany agreements and transfer pricing, while mentoring a growing team and driving continuous improvement in the controllership function.

Qualifications

• CPA with 6+ years of accounting/finance experience, including public accounting exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; strong U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 knowledge.
• Experience with multi-entity close, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close across global entities and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Lead global intercompany operations: billing, settlements, transfer pricing, FX analysis, eliminations.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Finance Data to implement intercompany agreements and launches.
• Design and document SOX-compliant internal controls for GL and intercompany processes.
• Drive strategic GL projects, including M&A integration and ERP enhancements (NetSuite).
• Mentor and develop direct reports to foster continuous improvement.
