Job summary

UC Irvine’s School of Medicine seeks an experienced Pre-Award Contract and Grant Analyst to independently develop and oversee proposals (basic and clinical) and related budgets. You will ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines, CFR, and university policies while coordinating with departments and principal investigators.

The role includes training staff and enhancing processes for compliant award management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area with equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit basic and clinical research proposals and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with CFR, sponsor requirements and University policies.
• Coordinate pre-award activities and routing of proposals to departments and PI.
• Provide training to School of Medicine faculty/staff on grant processes and Just-In-Time activities.
• Analyze policies and implement changes to improve processes and award management.
