Job summary

Render in the United States is seeking a Senior Content Engineer to own the strategy and system behind developer-focused content. You will identify gaps, prioritize initiatives, and build AI-assisted content pipelines that draft, fact-check, and publish technical material.

You’ll work with the DX team, docs owners, and external partners to keep content accurate and actionable. You’ll ship focused, technically grounded pieces for code agents and LLMs, test what works, and contribute to a playbook

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical content, developer education, content engineering, or software engineering with a strong content focus.
• Understanding of AEO or GEO and how answer engines choose sources.
• Strong working knowledge of AI agents; experience with coding agents daily.
• Builder’s approach to AI; familiarity with code-based content systems and evals.

Responsibilities

• Own content gap analysis using benchmarks, citations, and AI-traffic data.
• Create a prioritized backlog across articles, guides, and docs with rationale.
• Build and improve content factory pipelines; test changes with evals and ensure reliability.
• Own the review loop to keep high factual accuracy at scale.
• Refresh existing content as the product evolves and manage external partners.
• Partner with docs owners to expand coverage and define metrics for visibility.
• Define and report metrics that show impact on Render’s visibility and signups.
