Pacific Life is seeking a Construction Manager to join the Construction Services team in Newport Beach, CA. The role supports ground-up and multi-family projects, with a pathway to remote work for the right candidate, and requires strong field and documentation skills.

You will review documents, ensure conformance with construction plans, and coordinate with loan teams. A 4-year degree and travel are expected, with a focus on proactive problem solving and precise communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the construction industry as a Construction Project Manager or Construction Manager.
• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience in construction.
• Proficient knowledge of plans and specifications, contracts, and loan draw review process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in software including Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive, Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint and Box, Procore.
• Willingness to travel for on-site meetings.

Responsabilités

• Review construction documents and assessments to evaluate risks and provide feedback to loan and equity teams.
• Interpret issues and recommend process or service improvements.
• Solve complex problems with a broad perspective and innovative solutions.
• Monitor construction through completion to ensure conformance and schedule; travel for on-site draw meetings.
• Understand loan documents and participate in kick-off meetings for new projects.
• Maintain extensive project documentation for internal use and distribution.
