Job summary

DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Casualty Claims Examiner specializing in construction defect. This role involves investigating claims, analyzing policy coverages, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.

You will support the construction defect team and manage low to moderate exposure claims. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree (preferred), relevant state licenses or eligibility, and 2–7 years of construction defect claims

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional designations a plus.
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in required states.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• 2–7 years of construction defect claims experience preferred with strong performance.

Responsibilities

• Initiate timely contact with all relevant parties upon claim assignment.
• Handle low to moderate exposure construction defect claims.
• Analyze policies to determine coverage.
• Draft and issue coverage position letters.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with defense counsel and experts for litigation plans and budgets.
• Maintain thorough documentation and support claim strategies.
