Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC seeks a Lead Constructability Specialist to drive constructability and prefabrication strategies across major projects. This senior leader ensures design aligns with field needs, sets standard workflows, and mentors teams in best-known methods.

The role bridges field operations, engineering, and VDC while guiding continuous improvement, leveraging model-based construction and tech adoption to optimize safety, schedule, and cost.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience as an electrician in electrical construction with field leadership, VDC/BIM coordination, or prefabrication.
• Advanced proficiency with Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, Revizto, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and fabrication modeling platforms; Revit a plus.
• Expert knowledge of NEC, construction methods, and electrical systems installation practices.
• Experience driving digital transformation or construction technology adoption.
• Proven ability to standardize, scale, and improve constructability and prefab processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead constructability efforts across large programs or multiple projects.
• Develop/review redlines and initial layouts for field coordination and design validation.
• Establish enterprise-wide standards, workflows, and tools for consistent constructability application.
• Serve as the top constructability resource for executives, operations, VDC, and prefabrication teams.
• Influence design development during preconstruction to optimize safety, schedule, and cost.
• Direct constructability input during milestone reviews and design workshops.
• Support constructability elements of pursuits and client/partner interviews.
• Partner with prefabrication leaders to drive scalable, assembly-driven design and modular construction.
• Develop prefab scopes, installation workflows, and field logistics to improve quality and productivity.
• Ensure feedback loops from field/prefab ops are captured to improve future designs.
