Qualifications

• Proven track record leading software builds and releases across environments.
• Experience in regulated/federal settings preferred.
• Expertise in CM and release engineering practices.
• Broad knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering, and DevOps.
• Experience with CM: identification, baselining, change control, status accounting.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps Repos, Subversion.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions) and repositories (Nexus, Artifactory).
• Experience scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with IaC and environment management (Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiar with CM tools training and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and migrate to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting and delivery.
• Perform CM and release tasks; document parameters and ensure compatibility with configs.
• Design, develop, automate tools to improve modeling and development.
• Develop build procedures for software product development and use.
• Create company-wide software configuration standards.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and solutions to complex problems.
• Operate autonomously and make sound decisions.
• Ensure compliant, repeatable build and deployment processes across projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and train junior analysts/engineers in CM best practices.
