Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Senior Compliance Coordinator to conduct and coordinate reviews of specialty provider documentation to ensure accuracy of services billed. You will prepare findings reports for providers and develop educational opportunities on coding and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

Responsibilities include presenting training, interacting with providers on policies, and mentoring colleagues in audit processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• No supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Research and respond to inquiries regarding compliance, coding, denials and billable services for specialty providers.
• Interact with providers to clarify documentation based on reviews and policies.
• Develop and present training materials on coding, documentation rules, and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with government agencies and management to support compliance initiatives.
• Review documentation for professional billing accuracy in ambulatory E/M and hospital settings; educate providers on coding practices.
