Job summary

Inspired is seeking a Commercial Contracts Director to join the Finance team. The role is home based with occasional travel to offices.

You will lead end-to-end commercial and contractual strategy, oversee contract lifecycle, and ensure governance across client, supplier and partner agreements, while partnering with the CFO to remain compliant with Ofgem and regulatory regimes. Responsibilities include strengthening governance, standardising MSAs/SOWs, defining liability and IP terms, and

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in Commercial Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of contract law, risk allocation, and standard industry contract structures.
• Good command of financial reporting, cost management and margin enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end commercial and contractual strategy for the business.
• Oversee contract lifecycle governance from set up to account settlement.
• Draft, review and execute high‑value client, supplier and partner contracts.
• Ensure standard terms and pricing models across subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with external lawyers to ensure value for money.
