Indigenous Pact PBC, Inc. is seeking a Senior Coding Quality Auditor to join the Compliance Department. This remote role involves approximately 25% travel to clinic locations in the Pacific Northwest, Wisconsin, and California, with annual pay between $100,000 and $140,000.

The Auditor will lead coding research, ensure coding accuracy for claim submissions, and serve as the subject matter expert for Tribal Care programs. Requires 5+ years coding experience and active credentials; CPMA preferred.

Formación

• Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active coding credential required; CPMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of coding experience, including 2 years of coding audits or quality reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Research complex ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier questions using authoritative sources.
• Monitor code set updates and payer policy changes, communicating clear guidance to coders.
• Research and vet coding, documentation, and reimbursement requirements for Tribal Care service offerings and new lines, and provide implementation guidance to teams.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and Operational leadership to evaluate coding impact of payer arrangements and reimbursement frameworks.
• Work through complex coding questions with coders, sharing research and rationale, and maintain a coding reference library.
