Job summary

Greystar seeks a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to define cloud security standards and own architecture decisions. You will write Terraform, configure scanners, and fix findings hands-on, collaborating with IT, Cybersecurity Operations, and Platform teams.

You will partner with engineering and data teams to ensure security is built in from the start, implementing least-privilege RBAC and just-in-time access while shaping enterprise policy into cloud controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of cloud security, security architecture, or cloud infrastructure engineering with security focus, at senior/principal level.

Responsibilities

• Define and own cloud security architecture patterns across cloud platforms (IAM guardrails, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management).
• Build and configure security tooling into CI/CD pipelines (IaC scanning, container image scanning, SAST/DAST).
• Triage and remediate security findings with engineering teams; harden cloud workloads and ensure secure design from build to run.
