Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Senior Cloud Security Engineer to define secure cloud standards and drive architecture reviews across multi-cloud platforms. You will craft policy-as-code, set secure-by-default landing zone baselines, and own RBAC and just-in-time access for cloud resources.

The role requires hands-on work with Terraform, Azure Defender, and CI/CD security gates. You will partner with Cybersecurity Ops and Platform teams to tune detections, remediate findings, and help harden AI/ML

Qualifications

8+ years in cloud security or security-focused engineering with senior/lead experience.
5+ years with Azure security standards and governance.
Hands-on IaC, Terraform, and policy-as-code experience.

Responsibilities

Define cloud security architecture patterns across platforms with IAM guardrails and encryption standards.
Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines with IaC scanning and SAST/DAST.
Lead identity and access controls, just-in-time access, and offboarding reviews.
Collaborate with DevOps, Data, and Security Ops to tune detections and runbooks.
