Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead an Azure-based disaster recovery cloud migration on an accelerated timeline. You will design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for Azure services, including VNets, subnets, DNS, identity, and security controls.

You will mentor peers to promote consistent cloud and DevOps practices across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Active or very recent government security clearance.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• Azure architecture and solution design focused on Disaster Recovery (DR).
• STIG baselining and security hardening in cloud environments.
• Experience in government cloud environments (e.g., Azure Gov).
• Azure monitoring, metrics, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Terraform IaC for Azure services including networking components.
• Support containerized workloads using AKS/Kubernetes and shape CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and networking teams to build reusable modules and guardrails for hybrid environments.
