Job summary

HistoSonics is seeking a Senior Clinical Applications Specialist to develop clinical competency and field readiness of new commercial team members through immersive coaching, assessments, and mentorship. This role bridges classroom education with real-world clinical application to ensure safe, effective support of histotripsy procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in clinical applications, clinical education, medical affairs, or post-market clinical support within medical devices or interventional medicine.
• Strong understanding of image-guided procedures, treatment workflow, and physician training models.
• Excellent communication skills, including translating clinical evidence into field-ready guidance.

Responsibilities

• Execute field immersion within the 12-week onboarding program, coaching and mentoring new hires.
• Validate competency through structured assessments and field-ready performance.
• Maintain onboarding documentation and track progress in the LMS.
• Identify gaps and implement individualized development plans for onboarding cohorts.
• Travel up to 70% to customer sites, training events, and internal meetings.
