Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Project Manager to support a growing biotech and clinical research organization in the United States. The role directs phase I–IV trials, coordinating sponsors, CROs, sites, and vendors to achieve milestones on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in clinical project management within biotech/pharma/CRO settings, strong ICH-GCP and FDA knowledge, and experience managing multinational studies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of clinical project management experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO environments.
• Experience managing trials in Cardiovascular, MASH, Hepatology, Obesity, or Dermatology.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and global trial operations.
• Experience managing CROs, vendors, budgets, timelines, and multinational studies.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning, execution, and oversight of Phase I–IV clinical trials to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary liaison among sponsors, CROs, sites, vendors, and stakeholders to drive milestones.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain quality and performance.
• Oversee study timelines, enrollment metrics, vendor activities, and financial tracking.
• Lead cross-functional teams through protocol implementation, database lock, and closeout activities.
