University of British Columbia is seeking a REMS Senior Project Manager to lead project teams from start-up through close-out, ensuring milestones are met while maintaining regulatory and budget compliance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, sponsor communication, and proactive risk management, with remote work options within the US and travel as needed. Excellent knowledge of GCP/ICH is required.

Qualifications

• BA Degree or minimum 5 years of direct project management experience at a CRO or proven leadership/management experience.
• Excellent supervisory skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to assess issues and mitigate risk using critical judgment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary sponsor contact for all study-related items and oversee project from start-up to close-out.
• Execute operational aspects of project activities and special projects.
• Assist in protocol, CRF, regulatory document development and project master file creation.
• Develop and monitor communication, monitoring, and training plans; ensure compliance with timelines and budgets.
• Plan investigator meetings, recruit investigators, and assist in budget negotiations.
• Supervise PMs and provide progress reports to Sponsor.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Support revenue, invoicing, and budget tracking for projects.
• Ensure audit-ready project documentation and support sponsor/regulatory audits.
