Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Senior Attorney to provide legal guidance on global programs and climate-related transactions. You will advise on carbon markets, governance, and complex agreements, working with multidisciplinary teams to structure, negotiate, and implement projects.

Qualifications

• JD licensed to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Minimum five years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong background in corporate transactions and governance.
• In-house and/or large firm experience with global clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice for global programs and transactions.
• Draft and negotiate carbon/climate-related agreements.
• Structure corporate entities and governance for projects.
• Support cross-functional teams with risk assessment.
• Collaborate with outside counsel when needed.
