Job summary

West Bend Insurance Company seeks an experienced claims professional to manage complex, high-exposure claims within a specialized line of business. You will provide technical guidance to adjusters, managers, agents and examiners, and evaluate coverage with well-supported opinions.

Engage with defense counsel on litigated claims, use modern claims technology to investigate and resolve matters, and contribute to process improvements, mentoring team members, and delivering top-tier customer service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field.
• Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.
• CPCU designation or other relevant insurance education/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, high-exposure claims within a specialized line of business.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to adjusters, managers, agents, and examiners.
• Evaluate coverage and deliver well-supported coverage opinions.
• Direct and collaborate with defense counsel on litigated claims.
• Use modern claims technology to investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims.
• Lead or support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in developing and training claims team members.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance with quality and audit standards.
