West Bend is seeking a dedicated claims professional to manage complex, high‑exposure claims within a specialized line of business. You will provide technical guidance to adjusters and managers, evaluate coverage, and collaborate with defense counsel on litigated matters.

You will use modern claims technology to investigate and resolve claims, lead process improvements, and train team members while delivering exceptional customer service in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex, high‑severity claims.
• Strong understanding of litigated claim management.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Effective negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfort using current technology and claims management systems.
• Ability to make sound decisions and provide technical guidance in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, high‑exposure claims within a specialized line of business.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to adjusters, managers, agents, and examiners.
• Evaluate coverage and deliver well‑supported coverage opinions.
• Direct and collaborate with defense counsel on litigated claims.
• Use modern claims technology to effectively investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims.
• Lead or support special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in developing and training claims team members.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance with quality and audit standards.
