Job summary

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a remote Senior CICS System Programmer for a large data center environment. The Sr CICS System Programmer will be responsible for the daily operations and security of the CICS subsystems within the Mainframe environment as well as supporting and leading modernization and special projects.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience working with CICS subsystems.
• Hands-on experience with REXX for automation.
• Knowledge and work with RACF for system security.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and manage operation of large-scale CICS environments across multiple LPARs.
• Manage installation, configuration, and upgrades for CICS subsystems to meet requirements.
• Conduct system testing and performance tuning to reduce bottlenecks.
• Develop automation using REXX for operational tasks.
• Support integration of applications and utilities including RACF support.
• Develop CICS continuity and disaster recovery plans.
