Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead global suspension system reliability and verification methods. You will drive stress factors into specifications and tests, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure durability from vehicle to end item.

Responsibilities include validation across vehicle, system and lab environments, data-driven root cause analysis, and mentorship of Suspension D&R engineers globally. Strong leadership and Six Sigma skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years in chassis systems and architecture development.
• Experience with durability validation methods for vehicle, system and component.
• Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA and related control plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead suspension system reliability and verification methods.
• Demonstrate vehicle, system, and lab testing to cover noise factors and failure modes.
• Develop and execute tests and data analysis for design verification.
• Connect physical test methods to design inputs and CAE verification methods.
• Sign off on System/Subsystem/Component with defined signoff responsibilities.
