Job summary

Celestica seeks a Senior Certification & Compliance Engineer to lead regulatory strategy for modular data-center systems. You will embed with product teams from day one, shaping architectures to meet global standards and enable rapid deployment.

You will coordinate global certification efforts, liaise with NRTLs (UL/ETL/CSA), and oversee tests for safety, reliability, and environmental readiness. Remote role with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years in regulatory compliance or standards engineering.
• Experience certifying industrial power equipment and modular systems.
• Proven track record with NRTL listings (UL/Intertek).
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 855 and UL standards.

Responsibilities

• Embed with design teams to drive compliance-by-design.
• Coordinate global product certification strategy.
• Interface with NRTL bodies (UL, ETL, CSA).
• Oversee testing programs (dielectric, short-circuit, environmental).
• Prepare technical construction files and traceability matrices.
