Job summary

GAF seeks a Corporate Project Engineer IV to serve as the technical authority for the plant's capital portfolio and the project execution process. You will drive high‑level risk management, develop business cases, and ensure scope, budget, and schedule are defined before progression.

This full‑time remote role in the US requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years of engineering experience, with strong communication and cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or roofing/building products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expertise: serve as primary technical authority for the plant's capital portfolio.
• Design Oversight: approve major design deviations and provide high-level solutions.
• High-Level Decision Making: lead critical decisions with expert data analysis.
• Project Execution Process: ensure projects have defined scope, budget and adherence to standards.
• Strategic Planning: develop and present business cases for capital projects.
• Portfolio Management: ensure defined scope, schedule and budget before execution.
