Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a senior C++ engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance systems powering AI data pipelines and evaluation infrastructure. The role focuses on performance-critical engineering, backend services, and tooling for large-scale data annotation and quality control.

You will work on data pipelines, evaluation workloads, and production-grade C++ systems, collaborating with data, research, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-grade C++ experience (C++17/20)
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, SIMD intrinsics, and cache coherency
• Expert in lock-free programming and maximizing parallelism using threading libraries
• Native or fluent English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance C++ systems for AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows
• Develop backend services and tooling for large-scale data annotation and quality control
• Improve reliability, performance, and safety across existing C++ codebases
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data and system behavior with scalable solutions
• Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to support model training and evaluation workflows
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to system architecture decisions
