Ensono is seeking an expert C++ Software Engineer for a remote role in the United States. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance C++ systems, with leadership responsibilities in architectural decisions and mentoring peers.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of hands-on production C++ experience, strong memory management and multithreading skills, and a proven track record with CI/CD, Docker, and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Expert understanding of dynamic memory allocation and RAII.
• Strong knowledge of C++ threading model and memory management.
• Experience with memory leak diagnosis and debugging.
• Familiarity with build systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain complex high-performance C++ applications.
• Take ownership of critical system components for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Design and implement advanced memory management and concurrent/multithreaded architectures.
• Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards across the team.
• Maintain CMake-based build configurations and multi-platform support.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based workflows.
• Diagnose issues with GDB/Valgrind; drive performance profiling and tuning.
• Collaborate with Linux-based development teams and mentor junior engineers.
