Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a remote, contract-to-hire engagement focused on claims insurance with Guidewire Claims Center experience highly desired. The role liaises between business units and IT, translating needs into clear requirements and designs for technology solutions.

The position offers W2 employment with benefits and a pathway to FTE after contract duration, and pays $55.00–$65.00 per hour. Prior experience in insurance and agile environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of business analysis experience.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience eliciting requirements.
• Insurance domain experience preferred, with Guidewire Claims Center background.
• Experience with agile methods preferred.

Responsabilités

• Capture, analyze, and document business and user requirements.
• Facilitate meetings with IT and business unit management and staff.
• Understand the business domain, processes, systems, data, and linkages to create project deliverables.
• Participate in or lead business process analysis to identify requirements.
• Partner with test teams to prepare testing strategies and execution plans, ensuring test cases map to requirements.
• Provide guidance for reporting documentation and how-to requirements.
• Participate in Business Analysis Center of Excellence activities and adhere to best practices.
• Engage in all project lifecycle phases to ensure business requirements are understood, documented, and met.
• Define or refine business needs for new or enhanced products, services, or optimized processes.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and consult to understand goals and objectives.
