Job summary

Huckleberry Labs is seeking a Senior Brand Designer to define and evolve our visual identity across the business. You will work with the Creative Director and partners in Marketing, Product, and Engineering to build a cohesive brand system that powers our website, campaigns, App Store, and product experiences.

You will own hands-on design work, shape the brand direction, and collaborate with external agencies to deliver high-quality creative across channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in visual design.
• Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• A creative focus on visual design across web, mobile, digital campaigns, video, and print.
• A passion for branding with a strong portfolio focused on brand systems.
• Experience working with motion designers to conceptualize and build motion as part of a broader brand system.
• Strong communication and collaboration with designers and non-designers.
• Curiosity to stay current with evolving design tools while developing an original visual point of view.
• Track record translating project needs and audience insights into thoughtful design decisions.
• Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Proactive, self-directed work style on a small team.
• Thoughtful, collaborative, high-quality approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to create a cohesive Huckleberry brand experience across the app, App Store, huckleberry.com, campaigns, paid media, lifecycle, content, and other brand touchpoints.
• Help maintain and expand a flexible brand system that scales with the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director to define how Huckleberry's visual identity is expressed across experiences and channels.
• Act as a champion for the brand, helping establish a consistent and distinctive point of view across the organization.
• Partner with Product Design to bring the brand into the product experience, not just marketing.
• Brief and collaborate with external partners across illustration, motion, video, and agencies to execute high-quality work.
• Design through iteration, experimentation, audience insights, and performance data to understand what resonates with families.
• Ensure consistency across marketing channels while expanding capabilities of the visual system.
• Be an active participant in design at Huckleberry, providing thoughtful feedback across Marketing, Product, and Design teams.
