Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.

• Knowledge of federal, state, CMS rules and institutional policies.
• Strong communication and collaboration with physicians and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts focused audits and investigations of billing and reimbursement non-compliance.
• Performs inpatient/outpatient documentation audits and identifies risk areas.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to departments and leadership.
• Develop corrective-action recommendations and assist with implementation.
• Educate and train staff on billing/compliance requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure ongoing compliance program improvements.
