Job summary

Winning Assistants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Billing & Coding Team Lead for a remote, full-time role. The candidate will own the end-to-end revenue cycle, manage claims, denials, and appeals, and coordinate with clinicians to ensure accurate documentation and timely reimbursement.

This senior position requires substantial U.S. billing experience, expertise in ICD-10, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience in U.S. medical billing and coding is required.
• Strong proficiency in ICD-10 coding and applicable billing codes.
• Experience with EHR, practice management systems, and claim submission workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the revenue cycle functions from claim preparation to reimbursement and account resolution.
• Monitor outstanding claims and proactively follow up with insurers.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Lead billing workflows and mentor team members for accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide secondary office management support as needed.
