Job summary

Fractal is seeking a Senior BI Data Engineer to support CRDM lift-and-shift to Snowflake, tool modernization, and EDP adoption. You will design data pipelines, mentor teams, and deliver enterprise-grade BI solutions across dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx workflows.

The role emphasizes data governance, UAT, and collaboration with business and technology teams to ensure accurate data and scalable pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience with data and BI solutions.
• Experience building scalable BI solutions.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development; Snowflake AIM/Cortex preferred.
• Strong Snowflake experience: SQL Server migration to Snowflake, DDL translation, and migration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines and BI solutions.
• Act as data SME and mentor other developers.
• Develop BI solutions with calculated measures and transformations.
• Establish enterprise-grade Data & BI platform processes and automation.
• Conduct data testing and QA; liaison between business and technical teams.
• Provide data/analytics support (SQL, SSAS, SAS, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI).
• Perform functional testing and data validation; create testing plans.
• Test data services for downstream dashboards and models.
• Ensure data lineage, governance, and security.
• Participate in UAT and communicate progress/risks.
